Taf3 | Transcription initiation factor TFIID subunit 3; Transcription factor TFIID is one of the general factors required for accurate and regulated initiation by RNA polymerase II. TFIID is a multimeric protein complex that plays a central role in mediating promoter responses to various activators and repressors. Required in complex with TBPL2 for the differentiation of myoblasts into myocytes. The complex replaces TFIID at specific promoters at an early stage in the differentiation process. Belongs to the TAF3 family. (932 aa) | ||||
Rprd1b | Regulation of nuclear pre-mRNA domain-containing protein 1B; Interacts with phosphorylated C-terminal heptapeptide repeat domain (CTD) of the largest RNA polymerase II subunit POLR2A, and participates in dephosphorylation of the CTD. Transcriptional regulator which enhances expression of CCND1. Promotes binding of RNA polymerase II to the CCDN1 promoter and to the termination region before the poly- A site but decreases its binding after the poly-A site. Prevents RNA polymerase II from reading through the 3' end termination site and may allow it to be recruited back to the promoter thr [...] (326 aa) |
