Taf3 | Transcription initiation factor TFIID subunit 3; Transcription factor TFIID is one of the general factors required for accurate and regulated initiation by RNA polymerase II. TFIID is a multimeric protein complex that plays a central role in mediating promoter responses to various activators and repressors. Required in complex with TBPL2 for the differentiation of myoblasts into myocytes. The complex replaces TFIID at specific promoters at an early stage in the differentiation process. Belongs to the TAF3 family. (932 aa) | ||||
Kcna7 | Potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily A member 7; Mediates the voltage-dependent potassium ion permeability of excitable membranes. Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a potassium-selective channel through which potassium ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient. Channels formed by isoform 1 inactivate faster than channels formed by isoform 2. Belongs to the potassium channel family. A (Shaker) (TC 1.A.1.2) subfamily. Kv1.7/KCNA7 sub-subfamily. (489 aa) |
