1) '10090.ENSMUSP00000030102':
Kdm4c - Lysine-specific demethylase 4C; Histone demethylase that specifically demethylates 'Lys-9' and 'Lys-36' residues of histone H3, thereby playing a central role in histone code. Does not demethylate histone H3 'Lys-4', H3 'Lys-27' nor H4 'Lys-20'. Demethylates trimethylated H3 'Lys-9' and H3 'Lys-36' residue, while it has no activity on mono- and dimethylated residues. Demethylation of Lys residue generates formaldehyde and succinate (By similarity).

2) 'Xntrpc':
Xntrpc
- Short transient receptor potential channel 2; Thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. Probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G- protein coupled receptors. May also be activated by intracellular calcium store depletion. Plays a role in mediating responsivity to pheromones that elicit aggressive and mating behaviors. Required for response to the Esp1 pheromone which enhances female sexual receptive behavior and to the Esp22 pheromone which inhibits adult male mating behavior.
Xndc1 - Xndc1-transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily C, member 2 readthrough.
