Aff4 | AF4/FMR2 family member 4; Key component of the super elongation complex (SEC), a complex required to increase the catalytic rate of RNA polymerase II transcription by suppressing transient pausing by the polymerase at multiple sites along the DNA. In the SEC complex, AFF4 acts as a central scaffold that recruits other factors through direct interactions with ELL proteins (ELL, ELL2 or ELL3) and the P-TEFb complex. In case of infection by HIV-1 virus, the SEC complex is recruited by the viral Tat protein to stimulate viral gene expression (By similarity); Belongs to the AF4 family. (1160 aa) | ||||
Malt1 | Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation protein 1 homolog; Enhances BCL10-induced activation of NF-kappa-B. Involved in nuclear export of BCL10. Binds to TRAF6, inducing TRAF6 oligomerization and activation of its ligase activity. Has ubiquitin ligase activity (By similarity). MALT1-dependent BCL10 cleavage plays an important role in T-cell antigen receptor-induced integrin adhesion (By similarity). Involved in the induction of T helper 17 cells (Th17) differentiation. Cleaves RC3H1 and ZC3H12A in response to T-cell receptor (TCR) stimulation which releases their coope [...] (821 aa) |
