Ash2l | Set1/Ash2 histone methyltransferase complex subunit ASH2; Component of the Set1/Ash2 histone methyltransferase (HMT) complex, a complex that specifically methylates 'Lys-4' of histone H3, but not if the neighboring 'Lys-9' residue is already methylated. As part of the MLL1/MLL complex it is involved in methylation and dimethylation at 'Lys-4' of histone H3. May function as a transcriptional regulator. May play a role in hematopoiesis (By similarity). In association with RBBP5 and WDR5, stimulates the histone methyltransferase activities of KMT2A, KMT2B, KMT2C, KMT2D, SETD1A and SETD1B [...] (623 aa) | ||||
Rpusd4 | Mitochondrial RNA pseudouridine synthase Rpusd4; Catalyzes uridine to pseudouridine isomerization (pseudouridylation) of different mitochondrial RNA substrates. Acts on position 1397 in 16S mitochondrial ribosomal RNA (16S mt-rRNA). This modification is required for the assembly of 16S mt-rRNA into a functional mitochondrial ribosome. Acts on position 39 in mitochondrial tRNA(Phe). As a component of a functional protein-RNA module, consisting of RCC1L, NGRN, RPUSD3, RPUSD4, TRUB2, FASTKD2 and 16S mt- rRNA, controls 16S mt-rRNA abundance and is required for intra- mitochondrial translation.
