Sde2Replication stress response regulator SDE2; Involved in both DNA replication and cell cycle control. Unprocessed SDE2 interacts with PCNA via its PIP-box. The interaction with PCNA prevents monoubiquitination of the latter thereby inhibiting translesion DNA synthesis.
