LMTK3 | Serine/threonine-protein kinase LMTK3; Protein kinase which phosphorylates ESR1 (in vitro) and protects it against proteasomal degradation. May also regulate ESR1 levels indirectly via a PKC-AKT-FOXO3 pathway where it decreases the activity of PKC and the phosphorylation of AKT, thereby increasing binding of transcriptional activator FOXO3 to the ESR1 promoter and increasing ESR1 transcription. Involved in endocytic trafficking of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors (NMDAR) in neurons (By similarity). (1489 aa) | ||||
NAA40 | N-alpha-acetyltransferase 40; N-alpha-acetyltransferase that specifically mediates the acetylation of the N-terminal residues of histones H4 and H2A. In contrast to other N-alpha- acetyltransferase, has a very specific selectivity for histones H4 and H2A N-terminus and specifically recognizes the 'Ser-Gly-Arg-Gly sequence'. Acts as a negative regulator of apoptosis. May play a role in hepatic lipid metabolism (By similarity). Belongs to the acetyltransferase family. NAA40 subfamily. (237 aa) |
