GLYR1 | Putative oxidoreductase GLYR1; Nucleosome-destabilizing factor that is recruited to genes during transcriptional activation. Facilitates Pol II transcription through nucleosomes. Binds DNA (in vitro). Recognizes and binds trimethylated 'Lys-36' of histone H3 (H3K36me3). Promotes KDM1B demethylase activity. Stimulates the acetylation of 'Lys-56' of nucleosomal histone H3 (H3K56ac) by EP300. Regulates p38 MAP kinase activity by mediating stress activation of p38alpha/MAPK14 and specifically regulating MAPK14 signaling. Indirectly promotes phosphorylation of MAPK14 and activation of ATF2. ARIH1 | E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase ARIH1; E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase, which catalyzes ubiquitination of target proteins together with ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 UBE2L3. Acts as an atypical E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase by working together with cullin-RING ubiquitin ligase (CRL) complexes and initiating ubiquitination of CRL substrates: associates with CRL complexes and specifically mediates addition of the first ubiquitin on CRLs targets. The initial ubiquitin is then elongated by CDC34/UBE2R1 and UBE2R2. E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase activity is activated upon binding to neddylated cullin- [...] (557 aa) |
