NCOA3 | Nuclear receptor coactivator 3; Nuclear receptor coactivator that directly binds nuclear receptors and stimulates the transcriptional activities in a hormone- dependent fashion. Plays a central role in creating a multisubunit coactivator complex, which probably acts via remodeling of chromatin. Involved in the coactivation of different nuclear receptors, such as for steroids (GR and ER), retinoids (RARs and RXRs), thyroid hormone (TRs), vitamin D3 (VDR) and prostanoids (PPARs). Displays histone acetyltransferase activity. Also involved in the coactivation of the NF-kappa-B pathway via [...] (1424 aa) | ||||
SESTD1 | SEC14 domain and spectrin repeat-containing protein 1; May act as the primary docking protein directing membrane turnover and assembly of the transient receptor potential channels TRPC4 and TRPC5. Binds phospholipids such as phosphatidylinositol monophosphates, phosphatidylinositol diphosphates (PIP2s) and phosphatidic acid, but not less polar lipids including phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylserine, and phosphatidylinositol. The binding to PIP2s is calcium dependent. Might be involved in the plasma membrane localization of CTNNB1. (696 aa) |
