TFDP1 | Transcription factor Dp-1; Can stimulate E2F-dependent transcription. Binds DNA cooperatively with E2F family members through the E2 recognition site, 5'-TTTC[CG]CGC-3', found in the promoter region of a number of genes whose products are involved in cell cycle regulation or in DNA replication. The E2F1:DP complex appears to mediate both cell proliferation and apoptosis. Blocks adipocyte differentiation by repressing CEBPA binding to its target gene promoters ; Belongs to the E2F/DP family. CEP120 | Centrosomal protein of 120 kDa; Plays a role in the microtubule-dependent coupling of the nucleus and the centrosome. Involved in the processes that regulate centrosome-mediated interkinetic nuclear migration (INM) of neural progenitors and for proper positioning of neurons during brain development. Also implicated in the migration and selfrenewal of neural progenitors. Required for centriole duplication and maturation during mitosis and subsequent ciliogenesis (By similarity). Required for the recruitment of CEP295 to the proximal end of new-born centrioles at the centriolar microtubu [...] (986 aa) |
