KAT8 | Histone acetyltransferase KAT8; Histone acetyltransferase which may be involved in transcriptional activation. May influence the function of ATM. As part of the MSL complex it is involved in acetylation of nucleosomal histone H4 producing specifically H4K16ac. As part of the NSL complex it may be involved in acetylation of nucleosomal histone H4 on several lysine residues. That activity is less specific than the one of the MSL complex. Can also acetylate TP53/p53 at 'Lys-120'. (467 aa) | ||||
SBNO2 | Protein strawberry notch homolog 2; Acts as a transcriptional coregulator, that can have both coactivator and corepressor functions. Inhibits the DCSTAMP-repressive activity of TAL1, hence enhancing the access of the transcription factor MITF to the DC-STAMP promoter in osteoclast. Plays a role in bone homeostasis; required as a positive regulator in TNFSF11//RANKL- mediated osteoclast fusion via a DCSTAMP-dependent pathway. May also be required in the regulation of osteoblast differentiation (By similarity). Involved in the transcriptional corepression of NF-kappaB in macrophages. Pla [...] (1366 aa) |
