Functions redundantly with VOZ2 to promote flowering downstream of phytochrome B (phyB). Down- regulates ’FLOWERING LOCUS C’ (FLC) and up-regulates ’FLOWERING LOCUS T’ (FT). Binds to the 38-bp cis-acting region of the AVP1 gene.
