Nodes:
Network nodes represent proteins
splice isoforms or post-translational modifications are collapsed, i.e. each node represents all the proteins produced by a single, protein-coding gene locus.
Node Color
colored nodes:

Edges:
Edges represent protein-protein associations
associations are meant to be specific and meaningful, i.e. proteins jointly contribute to a shared function; this does not necessarily mean they are physically binding each other.
Known Interactions

experimentally determined
Predicted Interactions
gene neighborhood
gene fusions
gene co-occurrence
Others
textmining
co-expression
protein homology

SKP1S phase kinase-associated protein 1; Involved in ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. Together with CUL1, RBX1 and a F- box protein, it forms a SCF E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. The functional specificity of this complex depends on the type of F- box protein. In the SCF complex, it serves as an adapter that links the F-box protein to CUL1. SCF(UFO) is required for vegetative and floral organ development as well as for male gametogenesis. SCF(TIR1) is involved in auxin signaling pathway. SCF(COI1) regulates responses to jasmonates. SCF(EID1) and SCF(A [...] (160 aa)
Predicted Functional Partners:
TIR1
Protein TRANSPORT INHIBITOR RESPONSE 1; Encodes an auxin receptor that mediates auxin-regulated transcription. It contains leucine-rich repeats and an F-box and interacts with ASK1, ASK2 and AtCUL1 to form SCF-TIR1, an SCF ubiquitin ligase complex. Related to yeast Grr1p and human SKP2 proteins, involved in ubiquitin-mediated processes. Required for normal response to auxin and repressed in response to flagellin. As part of the SCF complex and in the presence of auxin, TIR1 interacts with Aux/IAA transcriptional repressor proteins and mediates their degradation (594 aa)

CUL1
Cullin-1; Involved in ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. Regulator of mitotic processes which plays a role during gametogenesis and embryogenesis. Together with SKP1, RBX1 and a F-box protein, it forms a SCF complex. The functional specificity of this complex depends of the type of F-box protein. SCF(UFO) is implicated in floral organ development. SCF(TIR1) is involved in auxin signaling pathway. SCF(COI1) regulates responses to jasmonates. SCF(EID1) and SCF(AFR) are implicated in phytochrome A light signaling. SCF(ADO1/ZTL), SCF(ADO2/LKP2), SCF(A [...] (738 aa)

  0.996
COI1
Coronatine-insensitive protein 1; Required for jasmonate-regulated plant fertility and defense processes, and for coronatine and/or other elicitors perceptions/responses. Seems to not be required for meiosis. Required for the regulation of some genes induced by wounding, but not for all. Component of SCF(COI1) E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes, which may mediate the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins (probably including the ribulose bisphosphate carboxylase small chain 1B RBCS-1B and the histone deacetylase HDA6). These SCF complexes play crucial roles [...] (592 aa)

SKP2A
F-box/RNI-like superfamily protein; AtSKP2;1 is a homolog of human SKP2, the human F-box protein that recruits E2F1. Contains an F-box motif at the N-terminal region and a C-terminal Leu-rich repeat domain. Forms part of an E3-ubiquitin-ligase SCF (Skp1, cullin, F-box) complex and recruits phosphorylated AtE2Fc, a transcriptional factor that might play a role in cell division and during the transition from skotomorphogenesis to photomorphogenesis. AtSKP2;1 (At1g21410) and AtSKP2;2 (At1g77000) may be duplicated genes (360 aa)

  0.985
FBP7
F-box protein 7; This gene is predicted to encode an F-box protein that is evolutionarily conserved between Arabidopsis and other eukaryotes including S.cerevisiae and humans. It may play a role in regulating translation under conditions of temperature stress. FBP7 transcript levels are increased at high and low temperatures (328 aa)

  0.980
AT3G42830
RING/U-box superfamily protein; Component of the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. The SCF complex plays a crucial role in regulating response to auxin and is essential for growth and development. Through the RING-type zinc finger, seems to recruit the E2 ubiquitination enzyme, to the complex and brings it into close proximity to the substrate (By similarity); Belongs to the RING-box family (115 aa)

  0.979
EBF2
EIN3-binding F box protein 2; Component of SCF(EBF1) E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes, which may mediate the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins (probably including EIN3 and EIL1). Regulator of the ethylene signaling cascade by modulating the stability of EIN3 and EIL1 proteins (623 aa)

  0.977
EBF1
EIN3-binding F box protein 1; Component of SCF(EBF1) E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes, which may mediate the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins (probably including EIN3 and EIL1). Regulator of the ethylene signaling cascade by modulating the stability of EIN3 and EIL1 proteins. Confers insensitivity to ethylene (628 aa)

  0.977
IAA7
Auxin-responsive protein IAA7; Transcription regulator acting as repressor of auxin-inducible gene expression. Plays role in the control of gravitropic growth and development in light-grown seedlings. Auxin induces the degradation of the protein in a dosage-dependent manner in a process mediated by AtRac1. Auxin induced the relocalization of the protein within the nucleus from a diffused nucleoplasmic pattern to a discrete particulated pattern named nuclear protein bodies or NPB in a process also mediated by Rac1. Colocalizes with SCF, CSN and 26S proteasome components; Belongs to the [...] (243 aa)

UBC13
Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 13; Accepts the ubiquitin from the E1 complex and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins. Involved in the formation of multiubiquitin chains. Signal the protein for selective degradation; Belongs to the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family (166 aa)
