STRINGSTRING
STRING protein interaction network
Nodes:
Network nodes represent proteins
splice isoforms or post-translational modifications are collapsed, i.e. each node represents all the proteins produced by a single, protein-coding gene locus.
Node Color
colored nodes:
query proteins and first shell of interactors
white nodes:
second shell of interactors
Node Content
empty nodes:
proteins of unknown 3D structure
filled nodes:
a 3D structure is known or predicted
Edges:
Edges represent protein-protein associations
associations are meant to be specific and meaningful, i.e. proteins jointly contribute to a shared function; this does not necessarily mean they are physically binding to each other.
Known Interactions
from curated databases
experimentally determined
Predicted Interactions
gene neighborhood
gene fusions
gene co-occurrence
Others
textmining
co-expression
protein homology

TMTC3Protein O-mannosyl-transferase TMTC3; Transfers mannosyl residues to the hydroxyl group of serine or threonine residues. The 4 members of the TMTC family are O-mannosyl- transferases dedicated primarily to the cadherin superfamily, each member seems to have a distinct role in decorating the cadherin domains with O-linked mannose glycans at specific regions. Also acts as O- mannosyl-transferase on other proteins such as PDIA3. Involved in the positive regulation of proteasomal protein degradation in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), and the control of ER stress response. (914 aa)
Predicted Functional Partners:
XPO6
Exportin-6; Mediates the nuclear export of actin and profilin-actin complexes in somatic cells.

 0.623
DPY19L4
Probable C-mannosyltransferase DPY19L4; Probable C-mannosyltransferase that mediates C-mannosylation of tryptophan residues on target proteins.

 0.581
ERMARD
Endoplasmic reticulum membrane-associated RNA degradation protein; May play a role in neuronal migration during embryonic development.

 0.539
ZACN
Zinc-activated ligand-gated ion channel; Zinc-activated ligand-gated ion channel.

 0.511
LEO1
RNA polymerase-associated protein LEO1; Component of the PAF1 complex (PAF1C) which has multiple functions during transcription by RNA polymerase II and is implicated in regulation of development and maintenance of embryonic stem cell pluripotency. PAF1C associates with RNA polymerase II through interaction with POLR2A CTD non-phosphorylated and 'Ser-2'- and 'Ser- 5'-phosphorylated forms and is involved in transcriptional elongation, acting both indepentently and synergistically with TCEA1 and in cooperation with the DSIF complex and HTATSF1. PAF1C is required for transcription of Hox [...]

QSER1
Glutamine and serine rich 1.

POMT1
Protein O-mannosyl-transferase 1; Transfers mannosyl residues to the hydroxyl group of serine or threonine residues. Coexpression of both POMT1 and POMT2 is necessary for enzyme activity, expression of either POMT1 or POMT2 alone is insufficient. Essentially dedicated to O-mannosylation of alpha- DAG1 and few other proteins but not of cadherins and protocaherins ; Belongs to the glycosyltransferase 39 family.

 0.489
MT-ND4
NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase chain 4; Core subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I) that is believed to belong to the minimal assembly required for catalysis. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone (By similarity).

 0.477
PIGB
GPI mannosyltransferase 3; Mannosyltransferase involved in glycosylphosphatidylinositol- anchor biosynthesis. Transfers the third alpha-1,2-mannose to Man2- GlcN-acyl-PI during GPI precursor assembly. Belongs to the glycosyltransferase 22 family. PIGB subfamily.

 0.468
LMBRD2
G-protein coupled receptor-associated protein LMBRD2; Recruited to ligand-activated beta-2 adrenergic receptor/ADRB2, it negatively regulates the adrenergic receptor signaling pathway. May also regulate other G-protein coupled receptors including type-1 angiotensin II receptor/AGTR1 (Probable); Belongs to the LIMR family.
