Plasma kallikrein heavy chain; The enzyme cleaves Lys-Arg and Arg-Ser bonds. It activates, in a reciprocal reaction, factor XII after its binding to a negatively charged surface. It also releases bradykinin from HMW kininogen and may also play a role in the renin-angiotensin system by converting prorenin into renin.

Beta-microseminoprotein; Belongs to the beta-microseminoprotein family.

Kallikrein 1-related peptidase b3; 7S NGF alpha chain stabilizes the 7S complex. The beta dimer promotes neurite growth. The gamma chain is an arginine-specific protease; it may also have plasminogen activator activity, as well as mitogenic activity for chick embryo fibroblasts.

Protein-glutamine gamma-glutamyltransferase 4; Associated with the mammalian reproductive process. Plays an important role in the formation of the seminal coagulum through the cross-linking of specific proteins present in the seminal plasma. Transglutaminase is also required to stabilize the copulatory plug.

Zinc-alpha-2-glycoprotein; Stimulates lipid degradation in adipocytes and causes the extensive fat losses associated with some advanced cancers.

C-terminal-flanking peptide; Tachykinins are active peptides which excite neurons, evoke behavioral responses, are potent vasodilators and secretagogues, and contract (directly or indirectly) many smooth muscles; Belongs to the tachykinin family.

Antithrombin-III; Most important serine protease inhibitor in plasma that regulates the blood coagulation cascade. AT-III inhibits thrombin, matriptase-3/TMPRSS7, as well as factors IXa, Xa and XIa. Its inhibitory activity is greatly enhanced in the presence of heparin (By similarity).

Antileukoproteinase; Acid-stable proteinase inhibitor with strong affinities for trypsin, chymotrypsin, elastase, and cathepsin G. Modulates the innate immune response after bacterial infection. Contributes to regulate the inflammatory and immune responses to the intracellular parasite L.major. Down-regulates responses to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Plays a role in regulating the activation of NF-kappa-B and inflammatory responses. Has antimicrobial activity against mycobacteria, but not against salmonella. Retinol dehydrogenase 11; Retinol dehydrogenase with a clear preference for NADP. Displays high activity towards 9- cis, 11-cis and all-trans-retinol, and to a lesser extent on 13-cis- retinol (By similarity). Exhibits also reductive activity towards toxic lipid peroxidation products such as medium-chain aldehydes trans-2-nonenal, nonanal, and cis-6-nonenal. Has no dehydrogenase activity towards steroid. Seems to be required for homeostasis of retinol in liver and testis ; Belongs to the short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) family.
