Nodes:
Network nodes represent proteins
splice isoforms or post-translational modifications are collapsed, i.e. each node represents all the proteins produced by a single, protein-coding gene locus.
Node Color
colored nodes:
query proteins and first shell of interactors
white nodes:
second shell of interactors
Node Content
empty nodes:
proteins of unknown 3D structure
filled nodes:
a 3D structure is known or predicted
Edges:
Edges represent protein-protein associations
associations are meant to be specific and meaningful, i.e. proteins jointly contribute to a shared function; this does not necessarily mean they are physically binding to each other.

ccatRNA adenylyltransferase; Catalyzes the addition and repair of the essential 3'- terminal CCA sequence in tRNAs without using a nucleic acid template. Adds these three nucleotides in the order of C, C, and A to the tRNA nucleotide-73, using CTP and ATP as substrates and producing inorganic pyrophosphate. Also shows phosphatase, 2'-nucleotidase and 2',3'-cyclic phosphodiesterase activities. These phosphohydrolase activities are probably involved in the repair of the tRNA 3'-CCA terminus degraded by intracellular RNases. (407 aa)
Predicted Functional Partners:
CV_2033
Probable NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase; Identified by sequence similarity; putative; ORF located using GeneMark/Blastx/COG0702.

 0.819
birA
Biotin acetyl-CoA-carboxylase synthetase; Acts both as a biotin--[acetyl-CoA-carboxylase] ligase and a repressor; Belongs to the biotin--protein ligase family.

 0.775
CV_2031
Conserved hypothetical protein; Identified by sequence similarity; putative; ORF located using GeneMark/Blastx/COG2828.
       0.773

Peptidoglycan N-acetylmuramoylhydrolase; Identified by sequence similarity; putative; ORF located using Glimmer/GeneMark/Blastx/COG0741.

    0.740
ribD
Diaminohydroxyphosphoribosylaminopyrimidine deaminase; Converts 2,5-diamino-6-(ribosylamino)-4(3h)-pyrimidinone 5'- phosphate into 5-amino-6-(ribosylamino)-2,4(1h,3h)-pyrimidinedione 5'- phosphate; In the C-terminal section; belongs to the HTP reductase family.

    0.684
rsfS
Conserved hypothetical protein; Functions as a ribosomal silencing factor. Interacts with ribosomal protein L14 (rplN), blocking formation of intersubunit bridge B8. Prevents association of the 30S and 50S ribosomal subunits and the formation of functional ribosomes, thus repressing translation.

 0.662
petB
Ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase; Component of the ubiquinol-cytochrome c reductase complex (complex III or cytochrome b-c1 complex), which is a respiratory chain that generates an electrochemical potential coupled to ATP synthesis.

 0.647
metG
methionyl-tRNA synthetase; Is required not only for elongation of protein synthesis but also for the initiation of all mRNA translation through initiator tRNA(fMet) aminoacylation.
