Nodes:
Network nodes represent proteins
splice isoforms or post-translational modifications are collapsed, i.e. each node represents all the proteins produced by a single, protein-coding gene locus.
Node Color
colored nodes:
query proteins and first shell of interactors
white nodes:
second shell of interactors
Node Content
empty nodes:
proteins of unknown 3D structure
filled nodes:
a 3D structure is known or predicted
Edges:
Edges represent protein-protein associations
associations are meant to be specific and meaningful, i.e. proteins jointly contribute to a shared function; this does not necessarily mean they are physically binding to each other.

rnpARibonuclease P protein component, putative; RNaseP catalyzes the removal of the 5'-leader sequence from pre-tRNA to produce the mature 5'-terminus. It can also cleave other RNA substrates such as 4.5S RNA. The protein component plays an auxiliary but essential role in vivo by binding to the 5'-leader sequence and broadening the substrate specificity of the ribozyme. (88 aa)
Predicted Functional Partners:
rpmH
50S ribosomal protein L34, putative; GC: 47.41%; Codon Adaptation Index (CAI): 0.849; Belongs to the bacterial ribosomal protein bL34 family.

 0.969
yidC-2
Membrane protein (preprotein translocase) oxaA 1 precursor, putative; Required for the insertion and/or proper folding and/or complex formation of integral membrane proteins into the membrane. Involved in integration of membrane proteins that insert both dependently and independently of the Sec translocase complex, as well as at least some lipoproteins; Belongs to the OXA1/ALB3/YidC family. Type 2 subfamily.

rex
AT-rich DNA-binding protein, possible redox-sensing transcriptional repressor, putative; Modulates transcription in response to changes in cellular NADH/NAD(+) redox state.

    0.853
rpsJ
30S ribosomal protein S10, putative; Involved in the binding of tRNA to the ribosomes. Belongs to the universal ribosomal protein uS10 family.

    0.826
rpsL
30S ribosomal protein S12, putative; With S4 and S5 plays an important role in translational accuracy.

    0.786
rplC
50S ribosomal protein L3, putative; One of the primary rRNA binding proteins, it binds directly near the 3'-end of the 23S rRNA, where it nucleates assembly of the 50S subunit; Belongs to the universal ribosomal protein uL3 family.

 0.780
rplD
50S ribosomal protein L4, putative; One of the primary rRNA binding proteins, this protein initially binds near the 5'-end of the 23S rRNA. It is important during the early stages of 50S assembly. It makes multiple contacts with different domains of the 23S rRNA in the assembled 50S subunit and ribosome.
