STRINGSTRING
STRING protein interaction network
Nodes:
Network nodes represent proteins
splice isoforms or post-translational modifications are collapsed, i.e. each node represents all the proteins produced by a single, protein-coding gene locus.
Node Color
colored nodes:
query proteins and first shell of interactors
white nodes:
second shell of interactors
Node Content
empty nodes:
proteins of unknown 3D structure
filled nodes:
a 3D structure is known or predicted
Edges:
Edges represent protein-protein associations
associations are meant to be specific and meaningful, i.e. proteins jointly contribute to a shared function; this does not necessarily mean they are physically binding to each other.
Known Interactions
from curated databases
experimentally determined
Predicted Interactions
gene neighborhood
gene fusions
gene co-occurrence
Others
textmining
co-expression
protein homology

CAZ95704.1Putative protein. (38 aa)
Predicted Functional Partners:
CAZ95705.1
ArsR-type transcriptional regulator; This transcription regulatory protein binds DNA via a helix-turn-helix (HTH) motif. The ArsR family includes several proteins that appear to dissociate from DNA in the presence of metal ions. Metal ion binding would induce a conformational change that would prevent the protein from binding DNA. This protein adopts a fold of five alpha-helices and a pair of antiparallel beta-strands. Most ArsR-like metalloregulators form homodimers. Localized in the cytoplasm; Specificity unclear.

Putative protein.

CAZ95706.1
Permease; This family of integral membrane proteins are predicted to be permeases of unknown specificity (DUF318 family); Contains eight transmembrane helices; Localized in the cytoplasmic membrane; Family membership.
